Description
When night falls the city becomes alive with vibrant lights that bring glow and color to the dark. The lights, they are the rhythms of night. People driving in cars travel the fast track leaving light trails. Life in the fast lane or in the slow lane has its rhythms. The beat is not just movement but that of patterns. Lights in the city illuminate the lines and the curves displaying the shape of architecture both unique and common.
Sunset on friday night finally had skies clear of rain clouds or just grey gloom. A perfect night to capture light trails of cars to compliment the lights on the new Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. I wanted to show how the night comes alive with color and movement. The official opening of this unique guitar shaped hotel will be on Oct. 24, 2019. This night the Hotel was lit up in purple (maybe you can even say Deep Purple:-) ) Other colors that illuminate the guitar in recent weeks have been red, blue, and green. According to news articles the top has lasers that can go up 20,000 feet in the sky giving the impression of the neck. I do wonder if on opening night they will do something extra special like have the faces of famous guitarists on the exterior of the hotel.
