My idea was to capture an old world feel of an old market place - a girl selling apples. Inspiration was drawn from Vermeer's Girl With the Pearl Earring and the story of The Little Match Girl. This is a series of three that basically tell a story. The first is of the smiling girl who is hopeful for a good day of selling. The second takes place as the day wears on she has a pleading look that speaks of "Please, buy an apple milady?". The last one, has the girl saddened that no one is buying her apples.

I voice my artistic vision and observations through photography, digital artistry and writing. My approach to these art forms is one and the same. They are crafting tools I use to convey a feeling, capture the essence of a place, tell a story or present a concept in a unique way. Imagery can be weaved in not just words but in a pictures.
